Bauhaus exhibition at Leipzig’s Grassi Museum
Flagging up: The BAUHAUS_SAXONY exhibition at Grassi Museum in Leipzig traces the connections and activities of Bauhaus artists born in Saxony. The region played an important role for the design, art and architecture school celebrating its 100th anniversary this year and both the Grassimesse fair and exhibitions at Leipzig Trade Fair were important platforms for Bauhaus design ideas and products.
The Bauhaus exhibition is on until 29 September and features Bauhaus-inspired works of contemporary artists alongside historic exhibits. Not to forget: Grassi Museum is home to Bauhaus alumnus Josef Albers’ amazing glass windows – don’t miss!
