Peace is Power: Yoko Ono exhibition in Leipzig
“Yoko Ono. Peace is Power”. That’s the title of the most extensive retrospective of the Japanese-American artist’s work in Germany to day at Leipzig’s Museum of Fine Arts (Museum der bildenden Künste). It’s quite a show on 21,500 square feet and three floors of exhibition space, with smaller objects, space-filling installations and sculptures by the 86-year-old Ono. The one-woman show highlights the artist’s entire artistic oeuvre since the 1960s and includes films, video works, her solo albums as well as rarely shown drawings.
Until 7 July 2019.
