Salvador Dali in Saxony

Are you for (sur)real: Head to Görlitz and Zittau in Saxony where a special exhibition highlights Dali’s graphic work.

The cultural history museums of both towns (within 40 mins driving distance) host a joint exhibition showcasing a unique private Dali collection, including some rare test prints. With 250 exhibits, the Görlitz part focuses on Dali’s prints spanning the years 1934 to 1977. Over in Zittau,the exhibition revolves around 100 wood engravings as well as the artist’s “Apocalypse of St. John” complex, plus works by contemporaries such as Marc Chagall, Ernst Fuchs and Otto Dix.

The exhibition is open until 31 March 2019.  One ticket for both exhibitions: EUR 8.
