Welcome to the Cultural Heart of Germany

Dear website visitor,

Across the world, the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) has changed everyday life and, of course, travel. Like many other countries, Germany has enacted measures to keep the population safe and curb the spread of the virus, which means that also in the Cultural Heart of Germany regions of Saxony and Thuringia events have been cancelled and shops, museums, cinemas, restaurants, bars and pubs are closed. The German government will be reviewing these measures after Easter and we will update you accordingly.

But for now – stay home, stay healthy! Let us remain optimistic that travel and holidays will be possible again in the not too distant future. We’re happy that you came to our site and hope that you find some inspiration for your next trip. Take care!

For more detailed information on the situation and restrictions in both regions please see here: Saxony & Thuringia
